(Just send money.
)Just a little update here...
Sorry I'm behind on comments (again). I've been busy working on Chapter 7 of
Ludwig and Matilda: A Love Story, and it's half-finished already! I didn't get any work done it today though, for the following reason---a most unpleasant birthday "present":
My computer crashed or something this morning!

My old anti-virus program expired and I hadn't had time to install another one, so I guess something got into my Windows start-up and possibly my Yahoo! connection. So I had to go to "system restore", and I finally got it back with my data intact, thank God!

But now there's some little glitch in my Yahoo! program---I can use the mail and the website, but I can't open up the browser. I have to use Firefox (which I like better anyway), but I don't like that I can't sign out of my Yahoo connection or anything. I've contacted their support site, and hopefully the problem will be corrected soon.

AND, I have to re-install my printer.

I've got virus protection again now, but I wish I'd had it yesterday. I just want everything to be normal again. I know one thing, as soon as I get it straightened out I'm going to save all my goodies to CD or one of those "stick" thingies.

Okay, rant over...

~~~~~~~~~~~
My comments box has really filled up since I uploaded the Highland Games photos the other day (with a few more still to come!), and it's going to take me awhile to catch up---especially since I'm winding up our latest
contest. I'll have to end up deleting a lot of journals on here to save time and space, so to all of you on my watch list, please forgive me if I don't comment on every journal every time. Doesn't mean I don't care about you---it just means I'm juggling too much stuff and just trying to lighten the load.
Btw: to anyone who tagged me for quizzes and what-not these past couple of months, I may have to pass on several of them---I'm simply way too busy to deal with them. If I see one or two I can play with, I'll surely get back to them. But otherwise, it'd be best to leave me out of any tagging in the future. Sorry about that, but thanks for thinking of me anyway.
Also, yet another reminder about "chain" messages: not to be mean or anything, but please don't post them on my user page anymore. First, I'm not really superstitious. Second, the "chains" often have a very large typed up picture or are very long otherwise, and take up too much space on the page. Third, I'm not a "bad" friend if I don't send the thing to several other people---some of whom don't want chain messages either. Forgive me, people, but from now on when I get a chain message, it will be hidden and unanswered. Sorry if I'm spoiling anybody's fun, but let's face it---I'm
not a teenager anymore (and haven't been in several years); and I just have far more constructive things to do with my time.
(Okay, rant over.
)
News on the fandom front:
I'm working on Chapter 7 of
Ludwig and Matilda: A Love Story; since it's a pretty close follow-up of the previous chapter, this should (hopefully) not take too long this time.
Also, I'm FINALLY starting to update
Concrete Angel! I'm so sorry I've made everyone wait for my story updates, but I've really been focused on my "Ludwig" thing, even though I desperately need to work on my other stuff. I'm also hoping to do more to
Changing of the Guard,
Sara,
Mad Doctor of London,
L'Histoire de Marie Doulours and
Luna.
(I need to go on a writer's retreat BIG time.
)
Two art projects still lined up: a gift/prize art for
and a contest entry for
.
ACK!!! Lots of stuff to do. And my dad worries about me being bored???
Like I tell him: "Dad, I don't have
time to be bored!!
